The 1000V DC Surge Protection Device (SPD) is designed to protect solar PV systems and DC electrical equipment from transient overvoltage caused by lightning surges and switching spikes. It safely diverts surge current to earth, preventing damage to inverters, combiner boxes, panels, and control systems.

This Type 2 SPD is suitable for installation in DC combiner boxes, inverter inputs, and DC distribution panels. It features a compact design, replaceable modules, visual fault indication, and reliable thermal protection providing long-term surge safety for solar power systems.
